Who He Is

Guy's a tornado. It might be tough for us to keep up with him for the next 14 years. Chatters more than the other 7 kids combined. Has real quickness and acceleration, especially in parking lots and crowded places.

He's also a charmer. He's also told whoever might be listening that his mama is very pretty, that he wants to be a good son, that he is happy being with us, and that he wants to please us. So that's why say he's a charmer. It's either that, or the Bethany-hired guide is really good at creative translation!

Today he bounced frequently from his tornadic events to several quiet moments of contented play by himself, with Play-Doh, the doodler, or the camera.

There's much more to say that I will surely try to do over the next several days. But for now, I'm afraid the 9 hours of sleep I've gotten since Saturday morning are rendering my intellect fairly jumbled.

  1. He's very cute and he does look like a livewire in the pictures. Sounds like Josie and Seth are going to have lots of fun together! We rejoice with you and continue to pray for you. the Mausers

  2. Sounds like his personality might be similar to his cousin! Oh boy...I'll order you a copy of "Raising your spirited child". But better to have a child you need to reign in than one you need to light a fire under! You'll forgive me while I laugh in a loving, misery loves company sort of way. :-)

The date was even a good number....and will forever make you the most-favored child with mom.

So glad for all of you...and can't wait to meet him. So excited that he is actually part of our family now!

    Love,
    Heather

  5. We've got a couple that like to bolt in traffic and crowded situations too! They can be little live wires. Can totally relate.

  12. His mama is very pretty! :)
I watched this nature documentary once on the "cuteness factor" discussing how baby animals are all so cute so that their parents don't eat them...I imagine that charm will save this cutie's little life in the future! ;)
