Lost Luggage

We are happy to report that the flights were uneventful and on time. We made all our connections, but one piece of luggage (the one with all the clothes) did not. While we were headed to Beijing, our clothes were on their way to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Here's your chance to play "How well do you know Jeremy, Kathleen, and Josie"? Just match up each of us with our reaction to luggage non-appearance:
  1. I couldn't care less. What's wrong with wearing the same clothes for 18 days?
  2. I knew exactly where the suitcase got sent, but needed to cry about it anyway.
  3. I went into action, filing a report at the luggage office at the airport, followed by the use of all communication devices at my disposal.
Thanks to help from Jeremy's brother Joel, the suitcase has been located and is promised to arrive tomorrow evening. Our concerns about the flu screening proved to be pointless. The flight attendant told us we could deplane, then told us to sit back in our seats for a visit from the quarrantine officers, then told us we could go. We had to sign a form saying we were healthy, have it stamped at one booth, then turn it in at another. After we got (half of) our luggage we walked right through customs. Do you think we were supposed to stop and talk to someone. I guess at midnight, the customs officers just want you to leave so they can go home.

p.s. the answers to the quiz are 1=Josie, 2= Kathleen, 3=Jeremy
p.p.s. We're at t-60 minutes to meeting Seth!

Great to think that by the time I am writing this message you probably have already met the newest member of your family and are getting to know him better. How exciting! Can't wait to hear more!
